How to be Happy in 2020




When I was scrolling through my social media feeds on New Year's Day, I was in awe of all of the resolutions people were posting and I loved it. I loved the fearlessness of it. I loved the boldness of the statements. You give power to a goal when you say it out loud.

If you made a decision to be healthier or to go after something you always wanted  or to commit to something, be fearless in your decision. Shoot for the moon. Make the giant leap. Do the thing people don't think you can do. Do the thing that YOU don't think you can do. If you want things to change in your life, you have to make that big change.

This is one of my goals this year. I plan on being fearless. I spend so much of time wondering if I'm doing the right thing or how I'm actually going to make something happen, that I prevent myself from actually taking the steps to reaching a goal. Not anymore. Now, I'm going to set that goal in my mind and I know that I can make it happen. Sure, there are steps to take but don't get bogged down in the how of it all. Set the goal. Close your eyes. Imagine yourself reaching that goal. It will happen. It's your year. Be fearless.
